You'll be all right

It hurt. Badly. I wish I hadn't taken so much risk, but at least I had triumphed. The wounds stung whenever I inhaled or exhaled, and blood dripped down on the forest ground. The creature had managed to hit me various times with its huge nails, but now it would no longer terrorise the region. I still stood there, panting a little, then I buried the creature, the digging hurt my chest and my sides. I thought about the creature's wish to eliminate all life here. It must have been insane. It used to feed on the forest and the city, but now the forest would feed on the creature. The pain was growing worse, and every movement started to hurt, the blood kept coming. I started feeling dizzy. When I suddenly heard a sound behind me, I thought I was done for. I knew there could be more of the creatures around. As I turned, the pain screaming in protest, I saw not one of those creatures, but a gryphon. Some part of my mind told me I could trust her, so I kept standing there, observing, trying to ignore my wounds.
"I saw you fighting just now," she said, her voice soothing, very pleasing to my ears, "I'm sorry I couldn't help you in battle, but I know a different way to help you."
Her gaze shifted to the deep cuts in my chest and my sides, and a sad smile appeared on her face.
"Those must hurt, they will start festering in no time if not treated properly."
She took some herbs out of a small satchel and she crushed them between her claws, grinding them into a pulp before gently smearing it onto my wounds, immediately lifting the pain.
"What are these?" I asked in surprise.
"Careful, don't move too quickly," she said, still focused on applying the pulp, "these are karika and pharmirver, they grow in many forests like this one, and they are known for their pain killing qualities. When mixing them, they also help the healing process."
When she was done she looked me into the eyes and smiled, and I couldn't help but to smile back. We walked away from the spot where my blood had stained the soil a deep crimson, toward a small rock formation that I knew would have a pleasant temperature thanks to the sun earlier today.
"Thank you for helping me," I said gratefully, "is there anything I can do in return?"
"There's no need," she answered, "just healing others is enough."
We settled on the rocks, they were indeed comfortably warm.
"So do you collect herbs for a hobby?" I asked.
"Not just a hobby, I am a war cleric, you see, and I was looking for certain herbs here. I heard liboyo grows here. It's a bush with leaves shaped like rectangles, and it's great for making you feel less tired."
She paused for a moment. "How are your cuts by the way?"
I lifted my wing to show her, and she nodded approvingly.
"In a week it will look like they were never there. Say, would you like to help me search for liboyo?"
"It's the least I could do after what you've done for me, isn't it?"

So, this is my uh, third (?) contest!
The theme this time is,
Character interaction!

Yep.
That means, you have to draw OR write at least one of my and at least one of your characters interacting.
However, there are certain rules and limits as to what you can do:
Your entry must be fullbody and full-colored if it's drawn. Digital or traditional, it doesn't matter!
Your entry must be at least around 200 words if it's written. Language must be English.Needless to say, ALL WORK has to be done by YOU. You are not allow
I tried to paint for once instead of using coloured pencils. I like how great the colours look, but I think I still need a lot of practice.
