Not just any cats

...but the cats from the local cat café!
It's one of my favourite places. So cozy, so friendly, and with the best food and drinks.

To give you some background, these are the cats on the painting:
Noor, on the left, is super soft and cuddly. She can stay on your lap for hours, being her warm soft self.
Coco, the hairless cat (sphynx) at the top is a bundle of energy. She's usually running around the café, and she's always in for a game of chasing.
Keizer Karel, the cat at the center, is big and soft. He often marches through the café, then settles to lay down somewhere.
Tom, on the right, seemed a bit shy at first, but recently opened up a bit more and is now often found near the other cats. He loves sleeping. (Then again, most cats do.)
Kiwi and Moes, the two nearly identical cats, are sisters. They are very playful and love hiding under blankets and coats, and trying to find each other through the fabric.
Finally, Bowie is the cat at the bottom. She's been called a diva. Bowie likes claiming things for herself, and is not afraid to show others who's the boss (spoiler: she is). Luckily she has a gentler side, too.

I wanted to work on my skills with my relatively new watercolour brushes (same materials as I used for Foxfire), to see if I would be comfortable for using them on really big and important pieces. I'm super happy with the result, though mixing colours with these brushes is pretty hard. Especially browns are hard to make, which is a little unfortunate because I like earthy tones.
